I founded the network to distribute content to affiliate radio stations.  The network leased on Galaxy 23 for affiliates to simulcast programming from this satellite with localized automation triggers.  The network would also host many events.

The most challenging and risky venture of my career thus far has been the Dance Radio Network LLC (DRN). I wrote the business plan and formed the company to distribute syndicated programming via satellite to affiliate U.S. stations. As an engineer, I also built a trigger tone automation system so that affiliate localized announcements would play at designated times according to the program clock. After meeting with the president of iBiquity, DRN was later mentioned in an article for quality programming alternatives for HD Radio.

I coordinated this concert for the 2010 NAB Radio Show in Washington DC.
Dance Radio Network was an event exhibitor for the National Association of Broadcasters Radio Show.
Photos of this concert I produced in Washington DC are courtesy Barnyard Photography.
I helped the careers of many artists through my work with WMPH and Dance Radio Network. Before they were stars, I got to personally see Rihanna, Lady Gaga and others rise in the music industry.
Declaration of Dance was an initiative to advance party music to mainstream culture through radio.

FUN FACT

Dance Radio Network LLC was an ambitious project. I even leased on Galaxy 23 satellite over the pacific ocean to transmit 24/7 programming to affiliate stations in North America.
